Abbey Gate College students regularly gain admission into top universities in the UK, and this year was no exception.
In 2019, 89% of students successfully gained places at their first choice university, with 38% progressing onto highly competitive courses at Russell Group Universities. The Russell Group represents 24 leading UK universities that provide world-class research and education.
This year’s Upper Sixth students have accepted places at destinations including the University of Cambridge, Imperial College, London and the Royal Academy of Music.
Head of Sixth Form, Mr Cavallini said: “I am delighted that our Sixth Form students have embraced the opportunity to further realise their considerable academic and personal potential at the universities of their choice, after a significant period of careful research, advice, visits and interviews in selecting their ideal course. I wish them every success as they develop their future educational opportunities and professional careers and look forward to them visiting the College to tell our current and future students about their adventures.”
