Our Letter to the Secretary of State Regarding VAT on Independent School Fees Published on 10th September 2024

Following the Secretary of State’s statement to the Commons on 29 July 2024 about subjecting independent school fees to VAT, we have written a joint letter with the head teachers of The King’s School, The Queen’s School and The Firs School, to the Rt Hon Bridget Phillipson MP. This sets out our shared concerns over the impact of such an introduction. Please see the letter in full here
