This year our whole Year 7 cohort have been invited to take part in a new instrumental initiative, where the pupils can learn an instrument for free for 6 weeks to enable them to try something new, and something they otherwise may not have had the opportunity to experience.

The instruments have been generously provided via the College’s ‘Founders’ Fund’.

This week our budding instrumentalists met as a group for the first time, and the fledgling Year 7 Orchestra was born!

We will continue to follow the Year 7 musicians and see where this opportunity takes them…
