Comfortable Win For Sixth Form Football Squad In Cheshire Plate

The Abbey Gate College senior football team enjoyed a comfortable 8-2 win after travelling away to Ellesmere Port Catholic High in the Cheshire Plate Football competition.
A sharp start saw the College squad 4-0 in the lead after only 10 minutes with Harry G outpacing the defence and quality finishes from Dan PW.
Half time 5-0.
The second half was a chance to play some controlled football as Harry G completed his hat-trick and Dan PW scored directly from the kick off, after the opposition scored at 6-1.
Great credit goes to the whole squad who withstood some hefty challenges to run out easy winners in a difficult away game.
