Well done to all of the pupils who recently competed in the Chester and District Cross Country Championships. The course was tough with many obstacles, including a persistent swarm of interesting bugs!
Congratulations to Junior Cross Country Champion, Reece Munro (Year 8) who won the race for Year 8 and 9 boys over 3 kilometres.
Success too in the inter race, with William Ashfield (Year 11) dominating the race over 4 kilometres to lead from start to finish.
The Year 7 boys displayed great team effort, all finished in the top 20 of the field of 50 boys, with Xander Neal first home in 6th place. The rest of the team soon followed with Ben Cutler 13th, Harry Fountain 14th, Oliver Hayes 15th and Joseph Harrison 18th.
Congratulations also to Emma Nevett (Year 7) who has qualified to represent Chester in the County Championships. Good luck Emma!
