In early November, Year 9 student Annie W competed in the Welsh Schools Region of the British Shooting Schools’ Pistol Championships in Cardiff,.

Annie was awarded the Silver Medal in her age group for for Abbey Gate College and qualified for the National School finals that will take place in February.

The final saw Annie leading from the start with only 1 shot splitting the two towards the end. She then continued to compete in the International Welsh Open Championship which was a great learning experience for such a young competitor.
