Abbey Gate College Take Part in the ‘Sisters in Sport’ Netball Competition

Well done to our Year 9/10 and Year 7/8 netball teams who have competed in the Sisters n Sport Netball Competition earlier this week.
Sisters n Sport is an initiative to empower girls through sport, and the competition element was launched in 2018.
Both games were played with fantastic pace, skill and enthusiasm.
Year 9/10 v Tytherington School – lost 32-27. The player of the match was Ruby.
Year 7/8 v St Hilda’s School – lost 23-6. The player of the match Charlotte.
We are looking forward to finding out who our next opponents will be, over the next few weeks!
