There were lots of smiles this morning, as Abbey Gate College students celebrated another year of excellent A-level results, achieving an increase in top grades from last year and 100% pass rate across the entire year group.

This includes some outstanding individual achievements at the highest level. Particular mention is deserving for Ollie B, Amy H, Katy H, Amy N, Ben N, and Imogen R, who achieved eight A* and eleven A grades between them.

The Head of Abbey Gate College, Mr Craig Jenkinson, said: “I am delighted for our Year 13 leavers. So many of these results reflect each student’s hard work, ambition, and commitment, as well as the personalised support and guidance from their teachers. This is a group of young people who have given so much to our College and wider community during their time with us, and they leave us with a wide range of passions, skills, and goals. Most will go on to their first choice of course in Higher Education and will be, I am sure, highly employable in a fast-changing and demanding future world. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with these young people, and we wish them all well.”

Abbey Gate College will be holding its first Open Day of the new academic year on Saturday 21st September. Visit the College admissions pages for further details.
