Abbey Gate College was again celebrating some excellent GCSE results this morning, which reflect the students’ hard work and dedication to their studies.
This year’s results showcase some exceptional academic performances, with around one in five of all grades awarded at the highest levels of 9 and 8. Furthermore, over three-quarters of the grades were strong passes at grade 5 or above.
In addition, many students have achieved personal milestones that far exceed national expectations. For some, this has meant surpassing their projected results by two or even three grades in each subject. This is testament to their own diligence and also the nurture, challenge, and support of their teachers.
Mr. Jenkinson, Head of Abbey Gate College, expressed his pride in the students’ achievements: “We have such a diversity of talents and interests among this group of young people, and I am proud that the academic extension opportunities we offer, such as Statistics GCSE and the additional Higher Project Qualification, have also been successful.”
As students now look ahead to their next steps, whether continuing their studies at Abbey Gate College Sixth Form or pursuing new challenges, the College is confident that the resilience, dedication, and skills they have demonstrated will serve them well in their future endeavours.
Abbey Gate College will be holding its first Open Day of the new academic year on Saturday 21st September. Visit our Admissions pages for further details.
