The girls have shown great commitment to rounders this term, attending lunchtime practices and sometimes up to three fixtures in a week.   The Year 8 girls participated in the Chester and District Rounders Tournament on Tuesday 23 June 2015. The tournament was arranged in two pools with semi finals at the end of the first round. Abbey Gate visited Upton High School on Monday with four strong and determined teams. The Year 7's played an exceptional match, but lost their first innings to a practiced batting team from Upton. Just as we arrived at Christleton, the weather took a turn for the worse. With one rule altered (pupils cannot be stumped out at bases) in order to make the game safe the matches began.
